Happy Birthday, Jonathan Rhys Meyers

I was going to wait until after my End of Summer Mega Event at the library* before doing my first real blog post, but as I was flipping through my normal websites this evening I noticed it was Jonathan Rhys Meyers birthday. Why should that matter? Only because he was my inspiration for Charlie. See, look at him...

Very Charlie-like, don't you think?

Of course, I'm talking about young, pre-Tudors JRM. Although, there is something to be said for the current incarnation...

Something tells me the real King Henry didn't ever have abs like this.

Anyway, this is what you can expect from my blog. A few random Timber Wolves thoughts, an idea of how the writing is going**, some random extras***, and the very occasional Thoughts from Tammy type post. And maybe a book giveaway or two. Sound like a plan? I hope so, because it's the only one I've got.

*The day job. This year's End of Summer Mega Event is Pirates vs Ninjas. It should be epic.

**I wish it was going more quickly, but I'm liking where things are going right now. I hope you feel the same when you read it!

***And by "random extras" I mean stuff like this Jase and Scout interview from the very awesome Kit Lit Frenzy blog.

  1. I can't wait for this book. Seriously. I have read the first several more times. I'm so impatient.

My favorite version of JRM is in August Rush. Great movie!

  2. I need book 2 now. And yes, JRM would make a good Charlie now that you mention it. Love the post. And thanks for the shout out.

  3. ok, so first I obsessively read book one, then I discovered your blog here and went read the interview between Jace and Scout and goodness is it hilarious! hahahaha Second, I love when authors put a face to the name, so I love Charlie a little more now that he has a familiar face :) I am so very excited to continue reading anything you put out.... expecially Time Mends!!
